The Department of Computer Engineering Technologies was established in the academic year 2012-2013. It is a technical engineering department that admits students from the scientific branch of secondary education, as well as graduates of vocational education in computer science, electronics, and information technology specializations. The department aims to prepare specialized engineering technical personnel in the fields of computer networks, digital communication systems, various digital processors, electronic control systems, software systems, and all modern technologies associated with this specialization. Additionally, it covers areas of digital electronics to meet the growing demand for specialists in computer engineering technologies.

The duration of the study in the department is four years, after which the graduate receives a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technologies / Computer Networks branch, equivalent to the degree granted by the College of Electrical Engineering Technology / Middle Technical University. The graduate is also awarded an identity from the Engineers Syndicate, allowing them to practice the engineering profession in both public and private sectors. Graduates have the opportunity to pursue a Master's and Ph.D. in the various fields of Computer Engineering Technologies.
